Introducing the 2008 investment knowledge series

Today I want to introduce a new series I will be bringing the readers of GrowYourFunds for the next few weeks, the 2008 series. This is the time of year that many investors are looking toward their investment plans for 2008 and trying to get everything in place to make 2008 a more profitable one than 2007.2008.jpg

In the 2008 series I will take a look at investing tips for 2008, top stocks from different sectors for 2008, and how to maximize you profits in 2008 and beyond.

Since I want to make this open to my readers, I would like for anyone who has any suggestions for posts for the 2008 series to comment to this post. I will make every effort possible to post on all of the topics that readers want to hear about. Maybe you want me to take a look at the prices of crude oil in 2008 and how to profit from it, or maybe you want me to take a look at the price of gold and other basic materials in 2008. Just let me know what topic you would like to see covered on GrowYourFunds.

While I certainly don't want investors to overlook the rest of 2007, I fully believe that now is a terrific time to start looking at your finances and your investment plan for 2008. Knowledge is power when it comes to investing, and it is my hope that the 2008 investment knowledge series will help everyone become a better investor.

How about stocks from emerging markets, such as India or China?

Great series idea, Aaron. Any advice for homebuyers would be greatly appreciated.

I like the emerging nations stocks idea.

Also, I am currently trading mostly tech stocks. Will they continue to perform if the market goes into a recession? What tech stocks can weather a storm?

Thanks to all three of you that have replied thus far. I will notate this and touch on all three of these topics as it pertains to their outlooks for 2008. Please keep the suggestions coming!
