Devoted to understanding the basics and fundamentals of investing

Welcome everyone! My name is Aaron Smith and I will be hosting the blog here at Grow Your Funds. I wanted to start out by giving you a background about myself and then give an idea of the types of directions I will go with this blog. I am a young professional who was a great amount of interest in the financial world, specifically investments since a very young age. I graduated from Franklin University, Magna Cum Laude, in Financial Management. I have managed my own investment portfolio now for 9 years, and have managed the portfolios of others for about 5 years. I have a large amount of experience in equity research and investment research report writing. I have previously worked writing investment research reports on individual stocks for investment websites. The fundamentals of investments and finance as a whole is a strong point of mine and I hope to be able to convey that over to you the reader.

I aim to make this blog as informative as possible, while at the same time keeping up with current news in the world of finance. I intend on making posts periodically that educational in nature to teach the reader about the fundamentals of investments. I also intend to talk about stocks in the news, diversification, and other investment options such as bonds or cd's.

 

I truly hope this blog can become a feedback oriented site. The more discussion here, the more we are all able to be ahead of the curve. My whole goal in this blog to help the reader be better educated and able to grow their own funds. I aim to keep this blog very up to date and be extremely responsive to any questions or comments from the readers. With the introduction out of the way, let's get on track!
